No form to go on here and the token vote goes to Ballydoyle colt HARVARD. The son of Galileo is well entered up and has a big pedigree as he is a half-brother to brilliant American race-mare Tepin. His stable-mate High Definition is another son of Galileo and is a full-brother to last year's Beresford winner Innisfree. An interesting newcomer is the Kevin Prendergast-trained Alqabeela, a daughter of the yard's former star Awtaad. She made 160,000 euros as a yearling and is a half-sister to the Listed placed Herecomesthesun. Jessica Harrington runs two and Privilege would appear first choice on jockey bookings. The Holy Roman Emperor colt is out of a Listed placed dam. Another to note is the Joseph O'Brien-trained newcomer Federal. The Zoffany colt is out of an unraced half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Izzi Top, from a very good family.
Prediction : 1st Harvard 2nd High Definition 3rd Alqabeela

REVERBERATION may be able to pick up the winning thread again. He missed the kick a touch here last time and did well to get within a head of Atlas at the line. He takes on that rival again and on slightly better terms now may be able to come out on top. Atlas has since been narrowly denied at Galway on the opening night and both horses come here in fine form. Abeona could be a threat to them on her handicap debut. She has run some nice races in maiden company and with Sam Ewing taking a valuable 7lb off her back in this apprentice contest she looks on a nice low weight.
Prediction : 1st Reverberation 2nd Atlas 3rd Abeona

FEDERICA SOPHIA was an eye-catcher on her debut at Cork earlier in the month and may be able to step forward and open her account now. The beautifully-bred Galileo filly is a daughter of Group 2 winner Sapphire who is a half-sister to Free Eagle. She made up plenty of ground on her first outing when chasing home Too Soon To Panic and looked like she would improve from that. Astadash looks an obvious rival after two good runs to date. Kevin Prendergast's charge lost out by a head to Slaney East at Fairyhouse last month and had been fast finishing third to Oaks runner-up Ennistymon on her debut here. Tashi has a decent mark of 86 after chasing home Tasalka at Naas nine days ago and is another that has to come into calculations.
Prediction : 1st Federica Sophia 2nd Astadash 3rd Tashi

GALILEO CHROME has missed his last two engagements but this looks a nice stepping stone for him now. The son of Australia did well to overcome traffic and win his maiden at the Curragh last month and connections were prepared to let him take his chance in the Irish Derby before a stone-bruise ruled him out. He missed a Listed contest just over two weeks ago here because of a temperature and is obviously well regarded by connections. Stable-mate Choice Of Mine sets the standard in this ten furlong contest with an official mark of 98. He wasn't disgraced in Group 3 company at Dundalk last time but may not have the same potential as the selection. Masteroffoxhounds was fourth of five last time in Killarney but it was a decent little heat and he can't be ruled out.
Prediction : 1st Galileo Chrome 2nd Choice Of Mine 3rd Masteroffoxhounds

FLYING SCOTSMAN bids for a quick hat-trick here and looks hard to oppose. He has another 6lb penalty to carry for his narrow victory over a mile at Galway on Tuesday night but going back up in trip now should be a big help. Having won over a mile-and-a-half on the opening night of the festival the Galileo colt did well to follow up over an inadequate looking trip. This bigger galloping track should also suit better now. Hisnameis Mrdevitt is another horse bidding for three in a row and has to be a danger. John Feane's charge has probably been value for a bit more than his winning margins and could still be competitive despite a 7lb rise. Leigh Roche felt there might be more to come from Sideshift after his win at Dundalk last time and he looks another to consider down at the bottom of the handicap.
Prediction : 1st Flying Scotsman 2nd Hisnameis Mrdevitt 3rd Sideshift

TIMOURID has been running in some hot maidens and can get his head in front now with blinkers applied for the first time. The Gleneagles gelding was only beaten two heads when third behind Galileo Chrome at the Curragh last month and the winner could frank that form earlier on the card. Last time he filled the same position behind Derby winner Serpentine and this looks an easier task now. Gaelforce West was well punted on his debut in a newcomers maiden at Gowran last month and showed promise to finish third. That form has taken a couple of knocks since and he probably needs to improve to claim this. Shoshone Warrior showed promise in a couple of juvenile starts last season and has to be respected on his seasonal debut here for Ballydoyle.
Prediction : 1st Timourid 2nd Gaelforce West 3rd Shoshone Warrior

An open looking contest and UNIVERSAL FOCUS may be running into a bit of form. He showed up well behind the nicely handicapped Shumaker when third over ten furlongs at Down Royal last time and should appreciate going a bit further again now. Tenth Amendment ran on well when third in a competitive enough heat at the Curragh last time and a similar effort would see him involved again at the finish. Top weight Ally Cay may appreciate this better going now, having been fourth on heavy at Roscommon, and having dropped a pound since could still be on a competitive mark.
Prediction : 1st Universal Focus 2nd Tenth Amendment 3rd Ally Cay

SEE THE EAGLE FLY ran a big race last time at Killarney and may be able to go one better now. She was collared late on, by Dawn Over Owning, having hit the front early in the straight and dropping back in trip now could do the trick. Harvey Specter was a good winner at Killarney 16 days ago and is an obvious contender here off a 6lb higher mark. Guido Reni has been knocking on the door since the resumption and the handicapper leaves him on the same mark so he has to be a serious player in this grade. Ventnor stayed on over ten furlongs at Navan last time and market moves for him would be interesting up in distance now.
Prediction : 1st See The Eagle Fly 2nd Guido Reni 3rd Ventnor
