BIRD FOR LIFE made it back-to-back victories when scoring over course and distance recently and has a great chance of making it a hat-trick since the restart following a fair 3lb rise. Sir Mark Prescott's Lismore is respected trying this distance for the first time, while New Millennium was a promising fourth at Bath last time and is a winner over hurdles. Bernard Llewellyn saddles three, with the best of them appearing to be Norab, but veteran stablemate Arty Campbell is foolish to rule out and has a decent record here.

Bernard Llewellyn has a strong hand here and his EARTHLY wasn't far away from making it back-to-back victories when second at Bath recently. He is 5lb higher now, but rates as the one to beat once again, with the biggest challenge set to be provided by stablemate Kaisan, who was third here over 1m4f last time and now steps up in trip off the same mark. The Detainee wasn't beaten far when fourth over C&D last month and is respected, with Spice War and Golden Jeffrey offering a bit of value for each-way players.

SCARLET RUBY got off the mark in likeable fashion over course and distance last time and can follow up off a 5lb higher mark, with that victory much more comfortable than the winning margin would suggest. The consistent Decora has run well off this rating the last twice and is interesting now upped in trip, while East End Girl caught the eye on her reappearance and now joins the handicap ranks.

TAHITIAN PRINCE clearly benefited from his racecourse debut at Newbury when outrunning his odds to place at Kempton last October. The son of Siyouni is open to further progression and could put his experience to good use. Sun Tide has run with promise on both her starts to date and can enter the reckoning along with Desert Destination, who finished fourth at Salisbury on his debut.

TILAAWAH makes plenty of appeal on his racecourse debut having cost 155,000gns at Tattersalls Book 2 last October and because he represents top connections who are enjoying a fine season. Mihrab can enter the reckoning on his first start being a half-brother to a juvenile winner, while others of note include Bhubezi, who finished fifth on debut at Newbury, and El Patron, who filled the same place at Ascot recently.

ENDURING can be forgiven his performance in the Super Sprint at Newbury, as he was hampered at the start, and the drop into a nursery combined with the return to 6f could see him back to winning form. Tashbeeh's third at Yarmouth to Ventura Tormenta puts him in the mix with that rival going on to win a Group 2 in France, while Gordonstoun and Sibaaq appeal most of the remainder.

GOLD ZABEEL remains a maiden after three starts for Mark Johnston, but the three-year-old is in excellent hands to progress and a mark of 75 might not prove beyond him. He finished well after a tardy start when third at Musselburgh last time, but didn't have any issues from the stalls at Redcar before that when second and could take some beating. Intrepid Italian's winning run was ended at Chelmsford last month but he wasn't disgraced there in third, while Charlemaine could prove best of the remainder.

MAN OF THE SEA returned to winning ways over C&D a couple of weeks ago and a 3lb rise in the ratings for that success may not be enough to stop him from taking this contest as well. Outer Space hit the crossbar when trying to follow up his Leicester win here recently and another good performance can be expected from him. Others to note are Inner Circle, Dream Location and Mabo.

In a moderate contest the one who stands out is AMAZON PRINCESS, who arguably put in a career best when finishing second on her handicap debut over C&D three weeks ago. Fact Or Fable was fourth in the same contest and he should be thereabouts once again, while Lafontaine and Vitesse Du Son are arguably the pick of the remainder.
