Olympic Theatre showed plenty of ability to defy 40-1 odds when third on debut at Newmarket last month, though the suspicion looking at his pedigree is that he will prefer softer ground going forward. Bluetooth needs a market check for a team that has been quiet but selective with their juvenile runners, and this can go the way of Marco Botti's ATALIS BAY. Third on debut here, he is bred to appreciate this extra furlong and that experience last time won't have been lost on him.
Prediction : 1st Atalis Bay 2nd Olympic Theatre 3rd Bluetooth

Expedient showed encouraging signs when fourth on his racecourse bow at Kempton in June and has had a wind operation since then, while Brunel's Boy has plenty of experience in the book now and finished fourth in a blanket finish at Chepstow last month. QUICKSTEP LADY keeps bumping into smart types, but she has done very little wrong in four starts and would be hard to stop if running to her official rating of 80. She is a half-sister to Dancing Star and Foxtrot Lady and could take some stopping.
Prediction : 1st Quickstep Lady 2nd Brunels Boy 3rd Expedient

SPIRIT OF MAY shaped better than his finishing position suggested on reappearance at Newmarket earlier in the summer and should be better suited by this track. The outing may well have done his fitness the world of good, and the handicapper has been generous in dropping Roger Teal's charge 3lb. Magical Ride caught the eye when finishing well over C&D last month following a 310-day absence, while Arcanada is in good form and could prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Spirit Of May 2nd Magical Ride 3rd Arcanada

Wonderwork showed potential for Karl Burke and needs a market check on stable debut for Marco Botti, although one suspects that he would prefer some rain to be seen at his best. Spoof ran better than his finishing position suggested at Haydock last time and should appreciate this switch to a firmer terrain back over 5f, but there is plenty to recommend the Stuart William-trained DASCHAS. Only three lengths behind Glamorous Anna over C&D last month, that winner franked the form at Goodwood last week and Oisin Murphy takes over from a 5lb apprentice now.
Prediction : 1st Daschas 2nd Wonderwork 3rd Spoof

Taawfan took a step forward from her debut at Sandown to strike over this C&D last month for Owen Burrows, seeing out the extra furlong well, and should have more to offer looking at her pedigree. She will likely be short enough in the betting, though, and it might be worth chancing SPECIAL SECRET. The three-year-old ran a reasonable race on stable debut for Charlie Hills at Kempton last time, staying on late on her first start since September, and should enjoy this greater test of stamina. Hat-trick seeker Alibaba is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Special Secret 2nd Taawfan 3rd Alibaba

ROSE GREY showed plenty of ability when second on debut at Meydan earlier in the year for the Crisford operation and should have strengthened up plenty ahead of her UK debut. Only beaten a neck there, the experience won't have been lost on her, and she has a good draw here in stall two. Angel Fairy took a step forward from her debut when fourth over C&D last month but might need an even stiffer test, while Jacinta De Vega is fancied to prove best of the newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Rose Grey 2nd Angel Fairy 3rd Jacinta De Vega

William Muir is enjoying a fine season, and MOLINARI (was also engaged to run at Sandown on Sunday) has a major chance in this heat. There has been nothing below-par about his four efforts so far this year and he has enjoyed racing over this trip the last twice at Windsor and Ascot. The handicapper may not have caught up with him yet and he gets the nod ahead of Mr Top Hat, a good winner at Chepstow latest, and Eternal Prince.
Prediction : 1st Molinari 2nd Mr Top Hat 3rd Eternal Prince

FLASHING APPROACH's handicap debut effort at Lingfield was just too bad to be true, and he proved that was the case when finishing a decent fourth back on turf at Chepstow. He likely has more to offer going up to an extended 1m3f trip and connections have booked Silvestre De Sousa, which is a huge positive. Prince Alex appeals as an unexposed quantity and he is respected going handicapping, while Lyrica's Lion is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Flashing Approach 2nd Prince Alex 3rd Lyricas Lion
