PERFECT TIMES looked all at sea in the early stages at Kempton on debut, but finished with a real flourish despite drifting left close home. That run could have brought him on and he's taken to get the better of recent C&D winner Sandhoe here. Jedd O'Keeffe's charge has improved with each run, though, so cannot be underestimated. Hungry For Fashion and May She Shine are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Perfect Times 2nd Sandhoe 3rd Hungry For Fashion

Fairy Stories signed off last season with a hat-trick of 5f successes and has to be of interest despite the lengthy absence, while Roundhay Park was always in command at York and could still go well despite a 5lb rise. The latter's stablemate Citron Major has to be respected despite being 5lb higher than when winning over C&D recently, but preference is for WENTWORTH FALLS. The grey won well at Doncaster and was not far away at York last time, so could go well here.
Prediction : 1st Wentworth Falls 2nd Citron Major 3rd Roundhay Park

Gamesome surprised everyone with his victory at Haydock last time and might be a factor again despite a 2lb rise, while The Grey Zebedee ran respectably at Ayr last time and could fare well, though might prefer more cut in the ground. Awsaaf showed up well for third at Wolverhampton last time, but this can go the way of VAN GERWEN, who has struggled on softer ground the last twice but could hit the target now on a sounder surface.
Prediction : 1st Van Gerwen 2nd Gamesome 3rd The Grey Zebedee

LOCKET has displayed promise in all three starts in novice/maiden company and the daughter of Bated Breath merits plenty of respect on her nursery debut, especially as she may improve for the first-time application of cheekpieces. Infant Hercules has a similar profile to the selection and he should not be underestimated. Others to note are Emerald Ensign, Innse Gall and Eagle Eyed Freddie.
Prediction : 1st Locket 2nd Infant Hercules 3rd Emerald Ensign

In a wide-open contest the marginal preference is for DANCE TO PARIS, who was not disgraced in competitive races at Wolverhampton and Doncaster prior to finishing second at Beverley last time. That most recent form was boosted when the winner scored again on his next outing, which suggests that Lucy Wadham's mare can be successful off her current mark. Clearance accounted for Kensington Art at Musselburgh last month and that pair should be in the mix once again, while Gold Arch and Repetitio also merit respect.
Prediction : 1st Dance To Paris 2nd Clearance 3rd Kensington Art

STRIDING EDGE is very hard to oppose given that he won by 10 lengths at Pontefract last week and the three-year-old is 9lb well in this afternoon, despite having to carry a 6lb penalty for that victory. Fishable and Fraternity are other unexposed three-year-olds who could make the frame but will have to improve to beat the selection. All of the remainder have claims but Scottish Summit is arguably the pick of them.
Prediction : 1st Striding Edge 2nd Fishable 3rd Fraternity

ST GALLEN finished second in this sphere at Kempton in June before scoring over hurdles at Southwell a month later and could take advantage of a fair Flat mark for Olly Murphy. The booking of William Buick catches the eye, and this test of stamina should suit. Cote d'Azur is well treated on his old form and showed plenty when third here last time out, while Delph Crescent was disappointing at York latest but drops in class now.
Prediction : 1st St Gallen 2nd Cote dAzur 3rd Delph Crescent

FINELY TUNED is a consistent type for the Crisford operation and would be hard to beat if running to his rating of 81 back in novice company. The three-year-old has bumped into a few smart types in his career so far and, with no concerns over his attitude, is fancied to justify likely short odds. Allgold is related to some nice types and could make a strong debut, while Just The Ticket may prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Finely Tuned 2nd Allgold 3rd Just The Ticket
