STREET KID looks worth another chance after disappointing at Naas. There was plenty to like about his debut effort at Navan when caught on the line by Laws Of Indices who landed a Group 2 on his next start. Street Kid was then sent off favourite for a maiden in Naas, but was a little keen and his jockey reported that he hung right throughout. Perhaps he had an issue that day, but he clearly has plenty of ability. Dame Dandy has finished second on two of her three starts and holds a Group 2 entry so should be in the mix. Anjalawi and Warrior Brave were third and fourth respectively in a maiden at the Curragh, and the former may improve more as that was her first start. Tar Heel handles dig in the ground and Mikey Sheehy lessens his burden by 7lbs. The 83-rated Repute avails of Dylan Browne McMonagle's 7lb claim and has his chance. Of the newcomers, Prairie Dancer and Notoriously Risky ought to be monitored in the market.

ARCTICIAN is favoured over Monaasib in what appears a match between two horses that both hold Group One entries in the National Stakes. Arctician is rated 6lbs higher and they race off level weights, so that gives him an advantage. Although Arctician hasn't got his head in front yet, it is hard to knock his last two pieces of form. He was beaten a neck in the Group 3 Marble Hill, and finished third in the Group 2 Railway Stakes. The runner-up from that latter contest has since taken the Group One Phoenix Stakes in good style. Monaasib ran a cracker in second behind a good winner of a Curragh maiden, and then duly got off the mark by a comfortable two and a half lengths at the same track. He is a very worthy adversary. Larado was 12th (beaten less than seven lengths) on debut behind Lucky Vega in a maiden at Naas in June, but the form of that race is working out very well. It's a tough ask for him against the aforementioned pair, on just his second start, but he could make them work in first-time blinkers.

A very compressed handicap. FUGACIOUS could be worth chancing each way. He finished a never nearer fifth over seven furlongs at this track last weekend after travelling smoothly. This slower ground may suit him better (runner-up over six furlongs on soft ground at the Curragh in October), and he will be coming home stronger than most. Noirvento is in-form after reportedly getting stronger over the winter. She is one from one at this track, and is a must for the shortlist. Earls took full advantage of a low draw and a fast start to make the breakthrough in Sligo. That was the first time 7lb-claimer Dylan Browne McMonagle was on board, and he keeps the ride. Improving travelled well in Naas before being edged out by a head, and will have his supporters. The handicapper didn't miss him, though, in tacking on 5lbs. Pixel Power grabbed her first career victory at Leopardstown on Thursday by a head, however, that was on fast ground.

SIMPLY A BREEZE ran on nicely when third to Etneya at the Curragh last time and may appreciate stepping up in trip now. That was a much better effort on her second outing this term after she had run freely and faded on her return at Naas. The daughter of Casamento looks up to winning a maiden of this standard now. Watchmen has been placed on both his outings to date and is an obvious danger. The French-bred gelding drops back in trip after a solid effort behind Danger Money at Tipperary nine days ago. Born To Rule was a close third at Sligo last time and off a mark of 76 he's also entitled to be a leading contender here.

ASHTARAK looks interesting here on his handicap debut off a reasonable looking mark. The Sea The Stars colt has hinted at ability in maidens, the pick of his runs probably when he was staying on into the placings behind Bolivar only to slip up at Roscommon last month. His most recent run at Naas was a bit below par but with blinkers tried now and Dylan McMonagle taking a valuable 7lb off his back he could be a big player. Ya Ya Baby comes into this in winning form but a 5lb rise for her narrow success at Galway makes life a bit tougher. Mighty Mirage, who wasn't far behind her in third last time, is entitled to be a lot closer now on 4lb better terms.

NEW VOCATION has been knocking on the door and might be able to get her head in front in an open looking contest. The Vocalised mare ran well at Galway last time when finishing fifth in a competitive enough heat for this grade and from a nice low draw here should be thereabouts again. Musalsal seems to have an affinity for Gowran Park having won again there last time. Off a 5lb higher mark now he has it a bit tougher but has his chance again. Harvey Specter was also a winner last time out, scoring well down in Killarney, and he also has to come into calculations despite a 6lb rise.

KELLS might be able to do the business here on his handicap debut. The Galileo colt should be better suited but this galloping track having been edged out in a Sligo maiden last time. He travelled well then but went down by half a length at the finish and dropping back slightly in trip might also help. The Mpex Kid was a touch unlucky at Galway last time, coming wide to challenge and getting knocked off his stride slightly inside the final furlong. The handicapper gave him 4lb for that runner-up effort but he still looks a big player here. Phoenix Open also ran well at Galway when third to Eastern Racer, at a big price, and is another that could make an impression.
