Bannister also placed behind Hiconic on his hurdling debut at Stratford, with Kings Creek back in fourth, and the pair are likely to step forward from that experience.

Christopher Robin appreciated the step up to an extended 2m4f when triumphant at Southwell and the five-year-old may have more to offer now rising again in distance. Recent Uttoxeter winner Viking Ruby also enters the reckoning off a 4lb higher mark.

BRANDON CASTLE built on his fine Summer Hurdle fourth when running out a comfortable winner of a C&D handicap and the eight-year-old, who gets on well with Bryony Frost, could have more up his sleeve off a 7lb higher mark. Get Back Get Back landed the victory he had been threatening at Uttoxeter and is likely to give the selection most to think about. Escapability was a beaten favourite on his return to jumping but is now dropped in trip in a first-time visor, with Ingleby Hollow fit from the Flat and also of note under Richard Johnson.

Kim Bailey's seven-year-old relished the return to further on that first appearance since March and could defy a 9lb rise, with conditions likely to suit. Potterman was no match for the winner when second at Bangor, but is capable of hitting the frame off his current figure. More Buck's has been thereabouts the last twice and may offer some value.

Ain't My Fault picked up from where he left off when second at Bangor and can be competitive once again following a 2lb rise. Paricolor is respected having looked set to take a hand in the finish at Cartmel before departing at the third-last.

LITTLE STEVIE never really looked like being caught when successful over C&D last month, despite a mistake at the last, and the eight-year-old should remain competitive off a 5lb higher mark. Tricky Customer benefited from a break/wind operation when scoring here four weeks ago and fully deserves to take his chance up in grade. Lucky Robin has finished third both here and at Cartmel in recent weeks and could find an opening before the end of the summer season.

Socialist Agenda carries a 6lb penalty but impressed when scoring here on his first outing, while Dens Delight is another well worth noting after finding just one too good over C&D.
