It's hard to look past CALIDUS MIRABILIS for this contest. Joseph O'Brien's charge has already contested a pair of three-year-old maiden hurdles in Roscommon and Ballinrobe. He finished fourth in Roscommon before filling the runner-up berth in Ballinrobe. It was slightly disappointing that he didn't justify favouritism in Ballinrobe, but he did little wrong off the front. He was headed over a furlong out in the long run-in by a well-backed winner and gave best by a length and a half. Voice Of Hope ran okay for sixth in Ballinrobe on his first attempt at hurdling and has an each-way chance. There will be surely more to come from Differentiate after his seventh, on jumping debut, in Roscommon. He was placed in his last couple of starts on the Flat in July.Prediction : 1st Calidus Mirabilis 2nd Voice Of Hope 3rd Differentiate

THE RUBINATOR can improve upon his seasonal reappearance third in a handicap hurdle at Galway. He had been off since September before reappearing at the festival in Ballybrit in first-time cheekpieces. The six-year-old gelding closed two out, but was understandably one paced in the straight in being beaten just over 10 lengths. The two horses in front of him have both obliged since, though, to give the form a real boost. The cheekpieces are retained. Empirion made light of a seven-month absence to take a maiden hurdle in Kilbeggan at the start of August by a healthy four and a half lengths, and rates a danger. Caridadi is another winner from that same card at Kilbeggan, and has to be respected. Rock On Seamie is two from three on the flat at Tipperary, but hasn't been placed in this sphere yet. Automatic landed a weak maiden hurdle in Limerick, but could hardly have done it any better in winning by seven lengths. Prediction : 1st The Rubinator 2nd Empirion 3rd Rock On Seamie

The hurdling newcomers might be the ones to focus on, and FINEST EVERMORE gets the vote after easily winning a bumper at Cork. Patrick Mullins described her afterwards as 'a strong galloper' so the extra half mile here may be to her benefit if she can put in a good round of jumping. Papal Lodge gained a hard-fought win in a Roscommon bumper and is respected from a powerful yard, while Formal Order had some very good runs, without winning, on the level for Johnny Murtagh and is another interesting hurdling debutant. There was little between Glory and Mithmaar when they were placed behind Yafordadoe at Cork, but along with Ballinrobe runner-up Futurum Regem they might be fighting it out for minor money.Prediction : 1st Finest Evermore 2nd Papal Lodge 3rd Formal Order

All eyes on The Trigger here as the 11-year-old chases a remarkable six-timer in handicaps after three wins over hurdles sandwiched between a couple of wins over fences. He's obviously in the form of his life and the value of his most recent hurdles win at Galway was boosted when the runner-up Brogine bolted up at Ballinrobe. BREAD AND BUTTER is the selection, though, with Gavin Cromwell's Westerner gelding winning over this course and distance before following up at Roscommon. He's gone up sharply in the ratings but might be progressive enough to go in again. Paul Townend is an interesting booking for Humm Baby who shaped well on a comeback run at Cork, and Summer Hill comes into it as well after a good third at the Galway Festival.Prediction : 1st Bread And Butter 2nd The Trigger 3rd Humm Baby

Topweight DOUBLE WINDSOR had two very good runs behind the well-treated Pilbara last month and again wasn't far away last time at Wexford. He might be able to register a fifth career victory here. Monsieur Bagot is still a maiden but was second over this kind of trip last season at Kilbeggan and should be the better for his recent comeback run over fences at Downpatrick. Down at the bottom Warreedy rewarded connections' patience with a first win at the age of eleven when beating confirmed pace-setter Rudy Catrail over fences at Roscommon, but the latter has since run well again when runner-up over hurdles at Wexford and will be a danger to all if getting too much leeway at the front end here. Prediction : 1st Double Windsor 2nd Monsieur Bagot 3rd Warreedy

Not an ideal each-way race but a little play on MINELLA AWAY to win or place mightn't go astray. There's obviously been some very good horses to carry the Clonmel moniker, and whilst this Stowaway gelding isn't one of them he's only five yet and there might be a win or two in him. Up in trip for his handicap debut, Phillip Enright is a good booking, and his well-related mount needs to cut out the slight mistakes he's been making. The likely slower pace now may help in that regard. John Nallen's charge is from the family of Real Steel and if he can't make his presence felt off 89 it'll be a surprise.Others not long about catching the eye are Rippon Lodge, Da Baba Elephant, Esthers Marvel, The Reaping Race and Call His Bluff.Prediction : 1st Minella Away 2nd Rippon Lodge 3rd Da Baba Elephant

THALITLEOZIBATLER is fascinating here. Bred by Gilgai Farm in Victoria, Thalitleozibatler is the first foal of a dam that was an Australian six and a half furlong to mile and a half winner, which included the Group One Queensland Oaks. She's a half-sister to an Australian mile Group Two victor in Villifye. The market will obviously guide but the Onemorenomore gelding has the potential to be very good, on paper anyway. Mason City fell at the last when beaten in a point-to-point for David O'Brien. He's joined Gordon Elliott since and he's got to have prospects, despite the fact that he hasn't been seen out since April 2018. David Mullins' cousin Hugh McOwan has been making waves winning on Elliott horses lately. He rides for Tom Mullins here, and his mount, the dual point-to-point victor, Breakeven (previously with Denis Murphy), could be dangerous. The form book says Western Run has to be there or thereabouts, and Oneida mightn't be out of it either. Prediction : 1st Thalitleozibatler 2nd Mason City 3rd Breakeven
