Oddschecker tips for every race at York on Wednesday.
13:45 York
Michael Dods won this 12 months ago and could strike again with the hat-trick seeking JAWWAAL, who backed up his Doncaster reappearance with a taking win at Ascot last time, accounting for plenty of his rivals here in the process. David O'Meara has a typically strong hand with recent Thirsk winner Watchable, Muscika and Arecibo, who has been knocking on the door in these competitive handicaps so far this term. Acclaim The Nation has the chance to reverse form with his Goodwood conqueror Only Spoofing now 1lb better off, while Jabbarockie could offer some value in first-time cheekpieces. Prediction : 1st Jawwaal 2nd Arecibo 3rd Acclaim The Nation
14:15 York
CLOUDBRIDGE won with a fair amount of authority on his racecourse bow at Leicester at the beginning of the month and the step up in grade is unlikely to pose any concern for Charlie Appleby's colt. Darvel stepped forward from his debut to score in decent fashion at Ayr last month and is expected to improve for the extra furlong, while Praise Of Shadows and Royal Scimitar complete the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Cloudbridge 2nd Darvel 3rd Praise Of Shadows
14:45 York
MOGUL had been threatening to become disappointing earlier in the season, but he was a respectable sixth in the Derby when the race fell apart before striking in Group 3 company at Goodwood last month. The Galileo colt is going the right way and might have too much knowhow for the unbeaten Darain. The latter is following the same path as stablemate Logician, who landed this before St Leger glory 12 months ago. Roberto Escobarr is unexposed and worth noting.Prediction : 1st Mogul 2nd Darain 3rd Roberto Escobarr
15:15 York
A fantastic renewal with some of the top 10-furlong horses around involved. Lord North won the Prince Of Wales's in fine style at Royal Ascot, while Ghaiyyath beat Lord North's superstar stablemate Enable in the Coral-Eclipse and will no doubt make a bold bid from the front. Magical is another front runner who has been farming top-level races of late, but slight preference is for KAMEKO. Andrew Balding's 2000 Guineas winner shaped as though this trip would suit when unlucky in running at Goodwood last time and he can continue the excellent record of three-year-olds, who have won four of the last six renewals of this.Prediction : 1st Kameko 2nd Ghaiyyath 3rd Magical
15:45 York
ROCHESTER HOUSE ran a big race in a competitive stayers' handicap at Glorious Goodwood and could gain compensation for that near-miss behind Just Hubert (with True Destiny back in sixth) now dropping back in trip. Here And Now (2018) and Eddystone Rock (2019) are past winners of this contest who command respect, though bigger dangers may be Monsieur Lambrays, who won very cosily over track and trip latest, and Make My Day, who struck over 1m4f here on his first run for Ralph Beckett and could improve for this stiffer test.Prediction : 1st Rochester House 2nd Monsieur Lambrays 3rd Make My Day
16:20 York
Dancin Inthestreet proved disappointing here last month but she was previously third in two competitive handicaps at Newmarket and Ascot, including behind Art Power at the latter venue, and could bounce back for William Haggas now returned to the minimum trip. Pink Sands is progressing nicely and is worth noting wearing first-time cheekpieces, but KEEP BUSY is preferred. John Quinn's filly returned to form over 5f when beating El Astronaute at Hamilton recently and Danny Redmond's 5lb claim should really help her.Prediction : 1st Keep Busy 2nd Dancin Inthestreet 3rd Pink Sands
16:50 York
Mark Johnston boasts a strong hand with MUTAZAWWED, a winner at Lingfield in June, and Toussarok, who ran with plenty of credit when giving a penalty away at Ayr last month. Preference is for the former as he was unlucky when runner-up at Hamilton at the start of the month and the son of Muhaarar can handle a 4lb rise for that effort. Line Of Departure, Cairn Island and Churchill Bay are all open to further improvement based on what they have achieved to date.Prediction : 1st Mutazawwed 2nd Toussarok 3rd Line Of Departure
