This is a highly competitive race at this stage but Bravemansgame is the leading hope for the British and he has impressed with the way he has improved with each start over hurdles.

He looks an intelligent horse when reviewing his races and knows when a hurdle or a bend is approaching and can switch his lead legs to continue his fluent motion in expert style so that gives confidence the undulating Cheltenham track won be an issue.

His time figure at Newbury when landing the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle was very good and he cleared away in the style of a potential top class horse and even catering for the lack in depth of form of the runner-up Star Gate, he still ran into the 150’s.

His RPR’s are clear of his two Irish rivals and the sky seems to be the limit in terms of his untapped ability and with the Trainer using comparisons of Denman, confidence in the camp is certainly high.

He may not have the turn of foot that Bob Olinger has but Bravemansgame's ability to maintain a strong pace and his powerful finishing effort can see him blast up that Cheltenham hill.
