The Alistair Whillans trained Jordan Electrics (best priced at 9-2) has really turned a corner since joining from the Linda Perratt stable and should hold strong claims of completing a hat-trick of recent wins. The five-year-old finished 3rd here over 5f in July before appreciating the step up to 6f with a 1 ¾ length victory at Ayr on good to firm ground off a mark of 63. The gelding followed up five days later over this course and distance by nearly two lengths under Joanna Mason in a female jockeys race where he always looked in control.

The handicapper has raised the gelding 5lb for that victory which is fair and he actually drops from a 0-85 handicap into a 0-80 handicap in this race. Jordon Electrics looks worth keeping onside until he is beaten and I expect him to run well over this course and distance.

With form figures of 11122 at Hamilton and a record of 0-12 elsewhere, Shesadabber (best priced at 12-1) makes a lot of appeal back at this venue. The Michael Mullineaux trained mare has won off marks of 46, 50 and 54 but has also finished 2nd twice off a mark of 59. The latest of those efforts came on her penultimate start where she was only beaten ½ length by Soapys Sister when ridden by Laura Coughlan.

Tom Eaves takes over on the five-year-old in this race which is a positive and Shesadabber should be involved in the finish back over her preferred course and distance.

The Keith Dalgleish trained Platinumcard (best priced at 9-2) is 2/2 in handicap company and is respected off top weight to make it three in a row. The six-year-old won a maiden by 3 ½ lengths over this course and distance in June despite being sent off 80/1 before finishing 3rd under a penalty in a novice race on his next start. He made a successful handicap debut at Ayr in July off a mark of 84 before following up off 1lb higher at the same venue 8 days ago when victorious by 5 ½ lengths.

Those two victories were in four and three runner races so he has to prove he can cope with the demands of a twelve-runner race but he is respected under a 5lb penalty with regular rider Billy Garritty claiming 3lb.
