The David Dunne trained PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (best priced at 3/1) looks progressive despite now being eight years old and this in-form mare can win again over fences. With recent form figures of 22211 she is clearly thriving at present and she made a winning chasing debut over this course and distance 21 days ago.
Pretty Little Liar now runs in this handicap chase on only her second start over fences but she still looks well handicapped off a mark of 109 following her 10 length success at Fairyhouse off a 5lb lower mark over hurdles. This will be her most difficult task yet off this mark but I feel she is worth keeping on side until the handicapper has her back in his grasp.

This doesn’t look a strong novices’ handicap hurdle and preference goes to the Colin Tizzard trained NELSONS ROCK (best priced at 9/4) on his handicap debut. The six-year-old has shown very little so far in his career for new connections but those runs have been in bumpers and maiden hurdles over trips too short.

Nelsons Rock now makes his handicap debut off a lowly mark of 96 but most importantly he now steps up in trip from 2 miles up to just shy of 3 miles in this race. The son of Mount Nelson won two PTPs in 2019/20 so we know that he will stay this trip well and connections have also booked the talented Harry Kimber to take off a valuable 7lb. The Paul Nicholls trained Famoso looks the biggest danger but he was a disappointing beaten favourite last time at Wincanton and has something to prove.

The Roger Teal stable are in fantastic form at present with three winners from their last nine runners and I feel YOULLOVEMEWHENIWIN (best priced at 9/1) can bounce back to form in this race. The three-year-old gelding won over this course and distance in August off a mark of 63 and should now hold strong claims back down to a mark of 65.

The son of Cable Bay has been disappointing on his previous two runs but those have been in Class 5 0-75 and Class 4 0-80 handicaps and he now drops down in class to a Class 6 0-65 handicap off top weight. Youllovemewheniwin is well drawn in Stall 4 and should run well with up to five places on offer.
