When GUERNESEY (best price 4-1) won at Exeter I really thought he was going to kick on and to some extent he has but without winning. I thought he was really unlucky going down a short head at Warwick and then you could argue he improved again in defeat when third to the progressive An Tailliur over C&D last time. He hit the last that day too so if he can put together a smoother round of jumping he could still be capable of running big race. He has been nudged up 3lb but he should still be improving and I think 4/1 is too big at the time of writing. He is likeable and has the potential to take this. Getalead who narrowly got the better of the argument at Warwick is in opposition again but he followed up at Ascot and has gone up another 5lb as a result so this asks more of him. It wouldn’t surprise me if the pair battle it out again. Osprey Call is still unexposed so also has to be respected if staying on his feet.
