I do expect Oneupmanship to strip fitter from that reappearance run over hurdles here and he is the type to make a chaser so should go well but HONORARY COLONEL (best price 10-3) still looks the one to beat. I thought he ran a race full of encouragement when second to Seven No Trumps at Lingfield on chase debut last month and with usual improvement looks sure to go close. He was ridden quietly the last day and made steady headway before being hampered jumping the last. He kept on but the winner did it easily enough and looks a nice prospect for the Skelton yard. The third Get Your Own ran well when fourth at Doncaster next start and looks a more staying type so I think the form is strong. I don’t expect him to be given as much to do here with experience on side and it looks a good opportunity. Oneupmanship is a danger as mentioned but Ashfield Paddy also has to be feared if putting in a better round of jumping.
