I think it’s safe to say things didn’t go to plan for FRENCHY DU LARGE (best price 11/4) on chase debut but given he unseated at just the second flight it’s definitely worth giving him another chance. The yard are in much better form now and I’ve always thought of this horse as a chaser in the making so it was all the more encouraging to see him win on his final start over hurdles at Ludlow. He is open to plenty of progress and this looks a good opportunity for him to get back on track. They are likely to have schooled him plenty since so he should be a lot sharper now. Brummie Boys showed a good attitude to finally shed the maiden-tag over hurdles when last seen and also brings potential to the table now going chasing so looks the danger. Do It For Thy Sen disappointed at Bangor but was in really good form prior to that and might be worth another chance.
