I was really impressed with how TELL’EM NOWT (best price 3-1) won at Southwell last week and turned out quickly under a penalty with Hollie Doyle booked for the ride he looks sure to go close. He won eased down under Marco Ghiani and what we could make out (poor visibility) it was a very convincing performance. This doesn’t look a great deal tougher and I think he can strike again while the iron is hot. Beryl The Peril built on a couple of encouraging runs to win over track and trip last month. She justified good support that day and off just a 3lb higher mark she looks the danger. The First Hurrah is one of the pace angles but she didn’t really fire last time so will need to show more. I accept she is off a dangerous mark though so not entirely dismissed. Bobby Joe Leg is very consistent at this level and also has to be respected but a wide draw tempers enthusiasm.
