14:15 Market Rasen

The progressive SIDI ISMAEL (best price 10/3) looks worth keeping on side at Market Rasen on Sunday. He has won 3 of his last 4 now including on chase debut last time and has looked impressive since his stamina has been drawn out. The handicapper has reacted raising him 9lb but the way he travelled at Wetherby before putting it to bed suggests there is plenty more to come yet. This is competitive but for me there is still value in his price at 10/3 as I can see him going off shorter on the day for a shrewd stable. Tom Scudamore is back in the saddle which is a big plus and I think this 7yo looks on an upward trajectory. Powerstown Park is likeable and he put it altogether to win at Hereford last time. Bridget Andrews has a strong book of rides so confidence could be high coming into this and I think he is the danger. Brother Pat has stamina assured but wouldn’t want much more rain as the ground is already saturated. Cash To Ash continues to be thereabouts and also has to enter calculations but I think he is vulnerable for win purposes in a race with as much strength in depth as this.
