He finished an encouraging third on debut over fences at Bangor and that form has been strongly franked by the top who finished in front of him on that occasion. He then went down just a length at Uttoxeter where he was hampered 3 out so arguably a tad unlucky. He confirmed that promise to win by a wide margin at Bangor last time though and with further improvement to come this looks a good opportunity for him to follow up. Note Volatus had the race at his mercy before taking a tumble on chase debut at Market Rasen. I’m never keen to back a horse after a fall though so he does have a bit to prove to gain compensation. Relkadam is becoming well treated so also deserves a second look especially if the money comes.
