I thought BURROWS SEESIDE would be clear favourite for this following that close second at Southwell last month. He really found off the bridle and pulled readily clear with a progressive looking horse in Patsy Fagan. The latter pushed the improving Durdle Door close at Lingfield prior to that win so the form really stacks up. He is only up 1lb from that and given both his wins have come over this track and trip he looks to have plenty going for him again. Whittle Le Woods definitely has a chance on debut for Mick Appleby but my issue with him is that there is a fair bit of pace on with the likes of Late Arrival and Tommy Taylor also likely to push forward so he might do too much too soon. 4-time C&D winner Athollblair Boy has been freshened up and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he gave the selection most to think about late on.
