Fuji Flight didn’t run badly when fifth at Haydock and he should find this easier but my worry with him is he has never won a race and I think he is favourite based on the stable form more than his handicap mark to be honest. He should run well but I much prefer COEUR SEREIN for Jonjo O’Neill. This son of Fame And Glory won three times over hurdles and was in the process of making a winning start over fences before falling at the last at Lingfield. Better was expected at Cheltenham but he was given quite a bit to do and was never really going to pace to get competitive. This is easier and down a 1lb I think he is the one to beat. Illegal Model and Tallow For Coal may well take each other on so it could pay to be ridden patiently and with usual luck in-running hopefully the selection can pick them off late.

Adaay colt Harry Three is likely to be popular here as he puts his unbeaten record on the line but he is already short enough in the betting and is priced up more on potential than what he has achieved so far. I like Belardo filly FEARLESS ANGEL for David Loughnane. She made a winning debut at Pontefract before going down narrowly in a good race at Newbury in the summer. She had no problem making a winning return at Wolverhampton last month and with that under her belt better can be expected again. The second Coolmeen Royal won his next start in the style of a useful prospect so the form looks very solid. Apache Star made all on debut for this yard at Wolverhampton last time but will need more against the two mentioned above. Spring Is Sprung certainly has a future but might need more time.
