The Jonjo O’Neill trained KILBROOK (best priced at 3/1) got off the mark in his career last time should prove hard to beat off only 4lbs higher. The lightly-raced seven-year-old was returning from 214 days off the track to make a winning reappearance at Carlisle off a mark of 119 on his chasing debut. He appeared to idle and lose concentration when disputing the lead last time so hopefully the fact he held on by a nose will mean he has benefitted from that experience. 

The handicapper has only raised Kilbrook 4lbs for that victory which seems fair and he should hold strong claims if connections allow him to take his chance on the ground.
