This doesn’t look an overly strong race so I think connections have found a good opportunity for PARTY ON GIRL to follow up. She just took a bit of time to pick up before running down Far Away Thoughts to win over C&D last week and should be a lot sharper now. I think she won despite inexperience on that occasion as did all her best work at the finish. She has a penalty to carry here so it certainly isn’t a given but I can see her improving plenty from that so it’s going to take a good one to stop her following up. Atlanna is the obvious danger on form but I’m not completely sold by that run at Newcastle as she was well held at the line. She goes up to a mile here too which she also has to prove. Silver Vision will be looking to break on terms and looks best of the rest.

I thought there was a lot to like about the way FRANSHAM won over C&D in November to open his account over fences. He had Cornerstone Lad readily held on that occasion and despite unseating here last time he can get back on track here. He had yet to be asked for an effort last time so was in the process of running a big race. He remains open to further improvement given this is just his fourth start chasing and I think he could be progressive like he was over hurdles. The danger looks to be Across The Line who showed what a big engine he has winning at Southwell in November. He failed to match that at Doncaster last time though and isn’t the most straightforward. Destined to Shine should come on for his reappearance and is likely best of the rest.
