EXTRAORDINARY MAN (best price 7-2) has shaped like he could with a step up in trip having ran well over shorter the last twice and he gets that here. The seven-year-old ran well to finish third at Chepstow last time, where he was doing all of his best work in the closing stages and his second at Huntingdon prior to that display looks really solid form as he chased home the smart Balco Coastal and had the 120-rated Peejaybee back in third who looks promising. The deep ground this afternoon will hold no fears and getting a chunk of weight from the favourite, he’s fancied to finally come good in this sphere.

DELVINO (best price 9-2) hasn’t scaled the heights she once promised but her hurdles form is reliable and she ran a really good race to finish fourth behind Capodanno on chase debut where the extra furlongs seemed to stretch her stamina. The winner has advertised the form by running well to finish second to Bob Olinger and this talented mare is one-from-one at this venue and has already won twice over this distance. She’s twice had the very useful Roseys Hollow in behind and, on a line through that mare, who’s a Grade Three winner, this seven-year-old has the strongest form in the line-up. Keith Donoghue maintains the partnership and she looks attractive each-way material with an excellent chance of opening her account in this sphere.
