Get Your Own has caught the eye on each of his 3 starts over fences so far but he can often leave himself too much to do and that was the case again at Southwell last time. He just seems to lack a change of gear when called upon and if SOYOUTHINKSOAGAIN bounces back he might just have enough toe to get him out his comfort zone again. The latter disappointed himself at Lingfield last time but that was a good race and he had excuses as well. He will find this much easier and I’m surprised he isn’t favourite. He should get a nice trip in off Thatsy and I expect him to be in the box position to pounce in the closing stages. A mark of 126 should be well within reach and I fancy him to improve again on just his fourth start over fences.

There was lots to like about the way Lope De Vega filly KHATWAH forged clear back up to this trip at Wolverhampton last time. She won going away at the finish and as long as she handles the switch to polytrack here she should take all the beating off just a 5lb rise. Her third over 6f prior to that win has worked out well since so her form is really stacking up. Sky Blue Thinking is the interesting one in opposition. She did well for Adam West last year winning 4 in a row over this trip and while she has gone off the boil since if she revives on debut for Harry Dunlop she could emerge as the main danger. Eyes has finished down the field the last twice but not beaten far on either occasion so might also have a say in the outcome if bouncing back.
