15:25 Southwell

Having gone a while without winning BERNARD SPIERPOINT hasn’t looked back since tackling this surface winning well last month before following up at Wolverhampton (dead-heat) and then doing it impressively over track and trip again last time. He is clearly thriving right now and I don’t see a penalty being enough to anchor him here. The four-timer looks on the cards and even with 12 rivals up against him he is comfortably the one to beat. He is 5/2 at the time of writing but it wouldn’t surprise me if the market speaks strongly in his favour again. Glorious Charmer has been running well but his losing run dates back to 2018 so the fact he is second fav says a lot about the quality or more so lack of quality from the opposition. Lethal Angel was runner-up to the fav last time and may well end up filling that spot again.
