Back down in grade ROLLERRULER has to be a strong play at Newcastle on Tuesday. There isn’t a massive amount of pace on here so he should go forward and if he gets into a good rhythm off the front like he did at Hexham at the start of the season he could prove hard to catch. He was rated as high as 116 at one point over fences and is now off a handicap mark of just 93. He can make the odd mistake so his jumping will need to hold up but if he gets a soft lead that will help and he might always be doing enough under Sam Coltherd. I think the one most likely to be giving him something to think about late on will be Edmond Dantes. He should improve now chasing so it’s no surprise to see him prominent in the betting but the selection might be away and gone by the time he gets going.
