15:00 Chepstow

Beaten just 3 lengths on chase debut SUPERVISOR looks a good bet to open his account at Chepstow on Friday. Inexperience looked to get the better of him on that occasion but it was still an encouraging effort back from 293 days off the track. He should come on both physically and mentally and I think his current handicap mark underestimates him. He raced keenly the last day as well so with them cobwebs blown away hopefully he can settle better and come through gradually with his effort. This is competitive but I think the market has it right with Getmegold the most likely danger. He did it well at Exeter and with the promise of more to come should make a race of it despite the 7lb rise. Celma Des Bois also arrives in winning form having scored at Leicester but this is definitely tougher and he is up 5lb for that which looks a bit harsh.
