I can see INISHBIGGLE (best price 13-2) going off shorter than 13/2 here. He made a bright start for this yard finishing sixth in what now looks a good race at Ludlow back in December and quickly built on that to beat a subsequent winner in Peejaybee at Doncaster last month. That horse won readily at Sandown and is now rated 129 so while the selection has been beaten since he wasn’t disgraced in second and a mark of 111 still looks to underestimate him. He will always need a bit of luck in-running given his patient style but with tons of pace on here he might always be in his comfort zone off the pace before picking them off late. Brian Hughes is a positive jockey booking and I think he has plenty going for him and should figure more prominently in the betting. The danger looks to be Shoughall’s Boy who is on a hat-trick and also looks to have more to come.
