14:20 Plumpton
The Nick Gifford trained JUNGLE PROSE (best priced at 18-1) finished 2nd on her two starts this season at Plumpton and should run well back at this track. She was beaten four lengths on her reappearance in October off a mark of 98 before finishing 2 ½ lengths behind Top Man over the same course and distance in November off the same mark.
Jungle Prose ran poorly at Uttoxter on her latest start but that was on heavy ground and as a result she now runs here off a 2lb lower mark. Connections fit the seven-year-old with first time cheekpieces in this race and she should outrun her odds with up to five places available.
15:30 Plumpton
The Gary Moore trained VORASHANN (best priced at 13-2) won a 0-125 handicap hurdle in September off a mark of 120 and should hold strong claims in this 0-120 handicap off only 1lb higher. Since then he was only beaten 1 ¼ lengths in a 0-145 handicap before struggling at Sandown in a 0-130 handicap.
Vorashann returned from a 61 day break to finish 2nd by a head on the flat at Lingfield in first time blinkers and that headgear is retained here for his return to hurdling. The six-year old is back down to a mark of 121 but crucially drops in grade back down to a 0-120 handicap and he should prove hard to beat off top weight.
