His stamina fades over a mile and while he stays 7f I do think this sprint trip can prove his optimum distance. He still looks handicapped to strike off a mark of 65 and with Molly Presland claiming a handy 5lb he should go close here. The likes of Cuban Breeze and Portelet Bay should put good pace to the race and I can see this panning out favourably. Mick’s Spirit is favourite at the time of writing and has been very consistent recently. He finished half a length behind Amasova last time and will be looking to reverse that form here. Big Time Maybe usually hits the line hard and also has to enter the reckoning as one of the dangers. If the selection isn’t given too much to do I can’t see how he doesn’t go close.
