Stepping up in trip I can see GOOD RISK AT ALL getting off the mark over hurdles. He looked a very useful horse in the making winning bumpers at Cheltenham and Newbury and he has been a work in progress so far over timber. He needed the experience on debut in this sphere when second at Chepstow and then bumped into Jonbon at Newbury. He shaped best going down just a neck at Warwick and with this extra yardage firmly in his favour he can go one better now. He is open to further improvement and I think he’ll be a warm order come post time. Cap Du Mathan was impressive at Taunton but this is tougher and I actually think Zacony Rebel will emerge as the main danger. He has won 2 of his last 3 and should also appreciate stepping up in trip now.

Shoot To Kill has won his last 3 now and by just a neck last time so the handicapper can’t punish him too much. He will go very well again but I do think this will be tougher up against WHITTLE LE WOODS. The latter made it 2 wins from his last 3 runs when edging out Tipperary Tiger at Wolverhampton. That is solid form and his win over Legende D’art was also franked earlier in the week with that horse getting back to winning ways at Chelmsford. He is up just 2lb and if he gets a good pace to run down then he should be finishing best. Revolutionise, Sir Oliver and Tinker Toy could all go forward and if one or two take each other on that would be an ideal scenario. Sir Oliver clocked a career best over C&D last time and also has to enter the reckoning.
