Although a short price for this race, I do feel GOOD RISK AT ALL (best priced at 15/8) is almost certain to be rated 135+ at the end of the season so I have to back him here off a mark of 127. The six-year-old won a listed bumper at Cheltenham last season before defeating the 138 rated pair I Like To Move It and Gelino Bello in a listed bumper at Newbury in February under a penalty. He has finished 2nd on all three of his starts over hurdles so far including a 2nd placed effort behind Jonbon but this step up to nearly 2m4f will really suit him based on his latest run.
That Warwick race looks a strong contest with Barrichello and Washington and I think a 3lb rise for Good Risk At All is very fair and it would surprise me if he were beaten.

Manchester City made a mockery of the Champions League knockout stages midweek, blowing Sporting Lisbon away 5-0 in Portugal to all but see themselves into the quarter-finals of the competition. They can now turn their attention back to league matters and there shouldn’t be too much concern about fatigue given Pep Guardiola can shake up his XI and still field a seriously formidable side.
Gabriel Jesus, Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker, Fernandinho and Ilkay Gundogan could all come back into the side for this one and ultimately it is often the opposition having to do most the running off the ball while City just pop it about and get the ball into dangerous areas. This season is going to rival that of the 2018 side that topped 100 points if the Blue Moon carries on in this form and they’re firmly benefitting from the compound effects of having Guardiola in charge for a long period now.
Spurs have hit the buffers of late and Antonio Conte has started coming out with the typical Antonio Conte comments when things don’t go to plan. The truth is, he has been outthought by Thomas Tuchel, Bruno Lage and Ralph Hassenhuttl recently. They lost all three of those games and also lost the xG battle in all three as well. It was somewhat of a surprise because their data improved significantly under the Italian prior to those clashes.
I’m looking at the performances Spurs have put in against Chelsea in league and cup and expecting something similar here. They hardly attacked in those games and were poor on the ball, expect one-way traffic and City to run out comfortable winners with the form they’re in at the moment. Taking the hosts to cover the -1 handicap looks more than achievable at a shade of odds on.
