This is an open race but that’s why we’re getting what looks a good price about WESTERN MUSIC (best price 9-2). She has definitely taken her form up a notch this season going down just a neck at Southwell before relishing the drop back to this trip last time. She was impeded out the stalls and was shuffled back further than ideal. That interference lit her up too so she raced keenly through the early stages of the race but Sean Levey did well to get her settled and conserve some energy. She still took a while to see daylight but once angled out she really hit full stride and I loved the way she ate up the ground late on. She looks a filly ahead of her mark to me and a 3lb rise shouldn’t be enough to stop her. There is tons of pace on so this could pan out perfectly and she is overpriced. Purple Power is the obvious danger but at a double-figure price Katheefa might run quite well too.
