GYTO's Tuesday notebook double pays 13/1.

A further 6lb rise makes things tougher again but I still think TIMBERMAN is a well-handicapped horse. He ran a really nice race on reappearance when third to Samba Dancer at Cheltenham so it was no surprise to see him get back in the winners enclosure at Kempton back in November. He travelled strongly in rear before cutting through the pack and winning with something in hand. Put away since he looks to have found another nice opportunity and I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t go close. Fontana Ellissi got back in the winners enclosure at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago. He is up 5lb but remains on a good mark so looks the danger to the selection if in the same form. Zambezi Fix is likely to be in there pitching but might be vulnerable late. Langer Dan is obviously a good horse but is entitled to need this following an 11 month absence.
15:55 Market Rasen
The way FELTON BELLEVUE won at Hereford last month was impressive for the level and he backed that up in defeat when second to Max Dynamo at Wincanton last time. That horse has since followed up impressively so the form looks to have plenty of substance. He is just 1lb higher and still looks a well handicapped horse to me. The likes of Aire Valley Lad and Toad should ensure this is run at an end-to-end gallop and that will suit the selection who will just look to tuck in off the pace before hopefully staying on strongly late. He looks all about stamina and will be coming there when others have cried enough. Jessie Lightfoot obviously won impressively over C&D 2 weeks ago but an 11lb rise looks harsh to me. Alright Chief also arrives in form so has to enter the reckoning too but he will need more to cope with the front pair.
