Unbeaten over track and trip TIPPERARY TIGER can add to his perfect record on Thursday afternoon. He arrives here having won 2 of his last 4 starts and he only missed out by a neck to Whittle Le Woods at Wolverhampton last time. That horse has been beaten twice since but has run well on both occasions and is a decent yardstick. The selection is just 1lb higher here and given how well he goes over C&D I think he is primed to run a big race again. The likes of Toussarok and Global Warning should go a good clip and that will help the selection finish. The danger is Patsy Fagan who is a horse I like and he impressed getting back in the winners enclosure over C&D last month but he has been beaten since albeit less than a length at Lingfield. Of the rest Shallow Hal should bounce back soon with his mark sliding but perhaps not today.

Dorking Lad is fav for this following his Wincanton win and he has to be respected up just 2lb but he isn’t always the most straightforward and I wouldn’t want to take a short price. I think LOTS OF LUCK is the value with Kim Bailey and David Bass in good form. This horse improved for the switch to prominent tactics making all over C&D a fortnight ago and up just 5lb he still looks handicapped to strike. The horse he beat Judex Lefou went into that race having won by 13 lengths in a good race at Exeter and the third Bitasweetsymphony had also won easily a couple of starts back. He will likely push forward again here and might always be finding enough to fend these off. Bar the front pair Lord Sparky has a good record at this track and is running well so shouldn’t be entirely discounted either as he could be in there pitching for a long way.

Lots Of Luck - 1pt @ 11/4
