Back down in trip slightly I think BROOKSWAY FAIR (best price 6-1) can resume his progress here. He won in the style of a real improver at Ffos Las back in November and while he has been beaten twice since I think he has had excuses. I still think he is well handicapped off a mark of 90 and if he can put in a better round of jumping he should go close at what looks a good price. There isn’t a great deal of pace on and that is a slight concern but as long as it doesn’t turn too tactical I think he’ll run well. Passing Secrets is a model of consistency but he has been nudged up another 2lb and will likely find one too good again. Sputnik may show up better in cheekpieces so is also worth a mention. Ashjan is on a lengthy losing run and he has to be vulnerable again despite running well when third over C&D last time.
