In a wide-open race, it is good to see ASAJUMEIRAH (best price 7-2) lining up to go for his hat-trick. He won his last two at Newcastle over this trip and he looked good for plenty more last time out. He has improved a fair amount on both runs and if he continues in the same vein it will take more than a 5lb penalty to stop him.

Marks Bear and If You Dare look like the main dangers, especially the former who has gone close on his last two runs over course and distance. They likely have more to come but I am not sure if they have as much scope as the selection.

I have been waiting for TAHASUN (best price 9-4) to run over here since joining Henry Spiller earlier this month. She has very good form in France when running for Freddie Head. Her form at Longchamp and Chantilly is better than your usual maiden in this country and if in the same form she will take some beating.

There are plenty of newcomers in here so there could be surprises with the likes of Belt Buckle catching the eye on pedigree for the Gosden yard and she could well be a danger. Gold Belt is another daughter of Golden Horn and should be noted in the market.
