GYTO's Sunday notebook double pays 7/1.

This looks the sort of race that could produce plenty of future winners and HA D’OR (best price 2/1) is the one we are siding with. He is clearly held in high regard by Willie Mullins as he made his hurdles debut in a Grade 2 behind Zanahiyr which looked solid form so he followed that up by running him in last years Spring Juvenile hurdle. That was likely too much too soon for him and I like the way he has been campaigned this season with runs in easier races to gain experience. It was his easy win at Fairyhouse last month that put him in our Notebook as he is clearly still finding his feet and looks to have a lot to come.
It won’t be easy with Flame Bearer who was an easy winner on the same card as the selection at Fairyhouse last time out and Hiaou who got off the mark at Puncehstown last month and may still have plenty to come. They are both live dangers but I think the selection has the most scope for improvement.

It was hard not to be impressed by CORONADO JOE’S (best price 2/1) handicap debut at Fontwell last month where he ran out an easy winner. He gets a 7lb penalty for that win but the amount of improvement he found going handicapping suggests that might not be enough to stop a repeat performance and he could be one to follow.
It doesn’t look a strong race which further enhances the selections chances, that said a lively outsider could well be Spiritus Mundi who improved on his handicap debut and gets to run here off the same mark.
