I know WORLD TRIP is a bit of a tricky customer but I’ll be really disappointed if she can’t make her presence felt in a race as weak as this. She relished the step up to 3 miles to win impressively at Perth last year and while she has failed to get her head back in front since she ran her best race of the season when runner-up at Lingfield last month. She has been left on the same mark and given she was doing her best work late this step up to the extended 3 miles should suit and I think she is going to be seriously competitive here. I think the key to her is filling her with confidence before delivering her challenge so hopefully Fergus Gregory doesn’t reach for the stick too soon. The market probably has it right that Midnight Glance as the main danger. He looked to need the run when down the field on return at Fontwell and will likely be a lot sharper now.
