In Rem has been a huge improver since joining this yard and again he impressed bringing up the five-timer over C&D last month. He did only prevail by half a length that day though and is up another 5lb now which means he has gone up a whopping 38lb since his winning run began back in October. I think he’ll find this tougher and I’m keen to take a chance on GUILLEMOT ending the winning sequence. He clocked a career-best back from a wind op winning impressively at Ascot last month and while a 10lb rise makes life tougher he remains largely unexposed and should have more to come yet. He will likely lead this field and might always be dominating. If In Rem fails to fire then Deluxe Range could emerge as the main danger as he has dropped to a handy mark and will likely show up more prominently here. Farrants Way is also interesting back over hurdles with cheekpieces on but enough to prove on the balance.
