Current Premier League champions Manchester City will be well aware that Liverpool are on their coattails so they’ll be keen to avoid a potential banana skin at what should be an atmospheric occasion at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

There’s only three points in it between the top two and what did look a foregone conclusion has turned into an enthralling title race once more, despite City still setting very strong standards.
