The better ground should bring out the best in ASHINGTON (best price 10/3) and I think this is a good chance for him to taste success again. He won this last year off 2lb higher beating a very good horse in Minella Trump (went on to win his next 7 starts). He took a big step back in the right direction when fourth at Kelso last month and should be spot on for this now. The stable form is a slight concern but I think this horse has too much going for him to be a 10/3 shot and he should end up going off a fair bit shorter than that. Desaray Girl is obviously thriving winning her last 3 including over C&D 9 days ago. She looks the danger turned out quickly but a penalty makes this tougher. Lord Torranaga fell when last seen in this discipline but should at least be fit from a spin on the AW at Wolverhampton earlier in the month and could run well.
