Following an 11/8 winner yesterday, Steve Ryder is back with three selections for today's action.

The favourite Rambo T is worthy of respect but I do feel he is too short and I prefer the chances of SEA THE CLOUDS (best priced at 3/1) at the prices. The Jamie Snowden trained five-year-old has run with credit in both of his starts so far with two places coming at Fakenham and Ludlow.
Sea The Clouds finished a seven length 2nd at Fakenham in November before finishing a two length 3rd at Ludlow in January. On both occasions he weakened in the closing stages having travelled well into the races so the application of a first-time tongue tie looks a good move and I think he stands a good chance of upsetting the favourite.

The 92 rated Sun King heads the market for this maiden but I am going to take a chance on the Joseph O’Brien trained POINT GELLIBRAND (best priced at 5/2) on his reappearance. The son of Camelot was unlucky not to make a winning debut at the Curragh last season where he didn’t get a clear run before running on strongly to finish beaten by only a short head.
The form of that race is working out well with the winner Atomic Jones winning a Group 2 on his next start and the third finishing a nose 2nd in a maiden on his next start. Connections ran Point Gellibrand in the Group 2 Futurity Stakes on his next start but he failed to get involved and he will appreciate this drop down in class. The step up in trip to a mile for the first time should suit and I expect him to prove hard to beat.

Red Flyer (best priced at 11/4) is 2/2 since joining the John Best & Karen Jewell stable this year and he should hold strong claims of completing the hat-trick. The four-year-old gelding has been running consistently well since August with form figures of 12211 in which time he has improved from a mark of 65 up to a mark of 76.
Red Flyer won by ½ length at Lingfield last time off a mark of 74 so a 2lb rise from the handicapper seems fair and Richard Kingscote should be able to get a good position from Stall 1. He has the benefit of a recent run over the favourite Najeeba who makes her handicap debut in this race and I am hoping that Red Flyer can upset the favourite.
