The Flat is very much back and we head to Leicester for our Value Tip on Friday. HOVER (best price 5/1) ran out a convincing winner when last seen on the AW back in November and if he can transfer that form to turf now he should run a big race here. He is up 5lb but still looks well handicapped so the 5/1 on offer at the time of writing could be generous. Ventura Rascal showed a good attitude to prevail by a head at Ayr when last seen but often needs his first run of the season so he looks a bit short as favourite. Helm Rock is another one that could go well but will likely strip fitter for the outing. I think the danger could be Dark Spec who actually beat the latter when opening his account at Pontefract and like the selection should have more to come this season. Dickens could be a bit overpriced if bouncing back to form but on the balance has enough to prove.
