Joseph O’Brien made sure AGARTHA (best price 9/2) got plenty of experience as a 2yo and she was rewarded for her consistency to finally open her account over this C&D back in July last year. She made all that day and never looked like she was going to get headed. She improved again to win a Group 2 at the Curragh in August again going forward and burning them all off. She was beaten on her final two starts but they both came at the top level and with potential for a soft lead here on return she may well make a winning reappearance. Joseph O’Brien has his yard firing on all fronts and she looks the value play at 9/2. Sacred Bridge disappointed in the Cheveley Park Stakes but shouldn’t be written off and could emerge as the danger. Contarelli Chapel was impressive on debut and while she was beaten last time she also has to be respected with more to come.
