I’m actually going to put two forward at Redcar on Monday as I think they both represent value in their own way. DELGREY BOY ran on well to win over C&D when last seen at this venue back in October and he signed off a profitable campaign with 2 wins from his last 4 starts. He is up 6lb but could have more to come as a 5yo and as competitive as this looks he has to be decent value at around 7/1 at the time of writing. He should get a good pace to target and Brandon Wilkie has also been booked for the ride claiming a handy 7lb.
COPPER AND FIVE has form that ties in with my main play so I think he is worth a saver at a double-figure price. He had previously beaten the selection and was denied a run when third to him last time. I think he’ll be bang there and the market seems to have overlooked him to some extent. The unexposed Bowland Park and Broken Spear look to head the dangers.
