Steve Ryder is back with three selections for today's action, with all three running at Fairyhouse.

The Barry Connell trained SNAKE OIL (best priced at 6/4) made an encouraging comeback from 428 day off the track to finish 2nd at Naas in February and should hold strong claims of going one better in this race. The seven-year-old won a bumper at Listowel in September 2020 before finishing 3rd in a maiden hurdle at Leopardstown later that season behind Wide Receiver.
Snake Oil finished 2nd behind Bring On The Night at Naas last time and that rival has since boosted the form by finishing 4th in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival on his next start. This step-up in trip from 2 miles to 2m4f should suit and I expect him to prove hard to beat.
14:20 Fairyhouse
JEREMYS FLAME (best priced at 5/4) has to bounce back from a below-par effort last time in a Grade 3 but she should prove hard to beat in this if she runs up to her rating of 142. The Gavin Cromwell trained eight-year-old has beaten the reopposing Dolcita twice this season and despite now having to concede 3lbs to that rival, I would expect her to confirm form with her.
The likes of Darrens Hop and Hurricane Georgie have nearly a stone to find on ratings with Jeremys Flame so the only danger appears to be Dolcita and I expect her to get back to winning ways.

The Karl Thornton trained WHERES FRANKIE (best priced at 6/4) has completed a hat-trick of wins at this course in 2022 and should hold strong claims of completing the four-timer in this race. The six-year-old won a handicap hurdle by 4 ¼ lengths in January off a mark of 89 before winning a handicap chase off the same mark over 3m1f here by nine lengths. He won back over hurdles last time off a mark of 98 earning him a 14lb rise up to a mark of 112 over hurdles.
Where’s Frankie runs here back over fences off a mark of 103 (9lb lower than over hurdles) and he should prove hard to beat if he runs his race.
