Charlie Price partnered TRIXSTER (best price 7/2) to success at Taunton last month cashing in off a reduced mark to register his first win in over 3 years. He ran to form in defeat at Market Rasen last time where he stayed on strongly at the finish. They just didn’t go a good enough gallop for him but it was still an eye-catching effort. He remains off the same mark here with Charlie claiming a handy 3lb again. Ballintubber Boy sports cheekpieces and hopefully he’ll push forward and put good pace to the race as that will definitely help the selection. The danger looks to be Mason Jar who shaped better when third last time and is 3lb lower here. I wouldn’t want to take 2/1 though so I think he is opposable at skinny odds. Johnny B was second over C&D but has to prove himself over fences still. To Be Sure also disappointed at Ludlow and needs to bounce back if he is to land a blow.
