I usually try and avoid Windsor early on in the season as it can be a tough place to find winners but such are the claims that ICONIQUE (best price 11/2) has here I’m keen to play her against this field. She is unexposed and on just her second start in a handicap she made no mistake beating a good horse in Bague D’or at Yarmouth last season. She was keen in the early stages but still managed to stay on strongly to win with the front pair 2 and a half lengths clear from the rest. She failed to handle the track when last at Newmarket but I think you can put a line through that run. She reappears off the same mark this evening and with plenty of pace on if she can drop her head early I think she’ll be finishing best under Hayley Turner. Qeyaady was picking up well at the finish here a week ago so is likely to be popular but Tralee Hills might end up being one of the main dangers with the cheekpieces back on.
