Pull Again Green was impressive beating Kincardine at Newbury at the start of the month and he has to be respected off the back of that but there is a chance he is just bumping into one here in the shape of the promising CALL OF THE WILD. The latter impressed leaving Boombawn standing at Doncaster and given that horse has gone on to win his next two starts the form has been nicely franked since. He should improve again up to this trip for the first time and I think he looks a lovely prospect for Alan King. It’s not just a two-horse race though with Royaume Uni bringing a solid level of form to the table as well. He beat Hell Red 7 lengths at Fontwell and went down all guns blazing at Newbury so shouldn’t be far away again but lacks the potential the front pair bring to the table so will need to find more.

George Boughey looks to have a nice string of horses to go to war with this season and he was already in the winners' enclosure at Newmarket yesterday with Cachet winning the Nell Gwyn. TOLLARD ROYAL might not be of the same calibre but he is a promising enough horse himself having made a winning start at Kempton as a 2yo. He was beaten the next time out at Chelmsford but had excuses that day. He has been gelded over the winter and this son of Ribchester could be about to come into his own now. A first-time hood should help him settle and it will be interesting to see what tactics they adopt. If he drops his head Ben Curtis might try and take a toe in but we know he can go off the front as he did when winning on debut. Musical Romance shaped kindly on debut and might be the danger.
