13:50 Newmarket

This looks a competitive 0-100 handicap but preference goes to GALE FORCE MAYA (best priced at 11/2) who has shown good form over this course and distance in the past. The Michael Dods trained six-year-old has form figures of 2312 over this course and distance and has a further placed effort at the July course on her CV.

The mare ended last season in good form with two wins at Pontefract and over this course and distance off marks of 92 and 95 before finishing 2nd over this course and distance in a listed race. She was only beaten a short head that day by the winner She Do in a so the handicapper has been generous in leaving her on her mark of 98 and I expect her to run well with five places on offer.

Gale Force Maya - 0.5pts e/w @ 11/2

18:00 Dundalk

The Luke Comer trained DAMMIT (best priced at 7/1) returned from a 119 day break to win over this course and distance last time and get off the mark in his career at the 13th time of asking. The five-year-old was given a confident ride by Chris Hayes that day who settled him in rear from Stall 15 to win by a neck at the finish.

The form of that victory has been boosted by the runner-up Evening Verse who won her next start at Dundalk by 6 ½ lengths and therefore a 5lb rise for Dammit looks lenient. He is better drawn today in Stall 6 and should run well with up to five places on offer.

Dammit - 0.5pts e/w @ 7/1

20:00 Dundalk

The Tom McCourt trained INISHMOT PRINCE (best priced at 4/1) is seeking a hat-trick of wins at Dundalk and he should hold strong claims off only a 3lb higher mark. The four-year-old gelded son of Elzaam won here over 5f in February off a mark of 60 before defying a 4lb rise to win over the same course and distance in March by a neck.

The form of that victory has been boosted by the runner-up o both occasions Collective Power winning last time at Dundalk off a 3lb higher mark by 3 ¼ lengths in first time blinkers. That makes a 3lb rise for Inishmot Prince look lenient and he could also benefit for this step back up to 6f. James Ryan once again claims 7lbs and he should run well with four places on offer.

Inishmot Prince - 0.5pts e/w @ 4/1
